Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that involves various standing and ground techniques.

In order to practice JJB effectively, it is important to know the rules that govern this sport.

That is why we have decided to write articles about the rules of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

These rules will be written in several parts for easy understanding and accessibility. Each part deals with a specific aspect of BJJ, such as competition rules, safety rules and rules of conduct on the mat.

We will discuss the rules of competition, which include permitted and prohibited techniques, weight restrictions, scoring, penalties, and victory conditions.

We will also discuss safety rules, which are essential to prevent injury and ensure a healthy and responsible practice. The safety rules will cover topics such as injuries, unsafe behavior, use of protective equipment, and hygiene rules.

Finally, a section will be devoted to the rules of conduct on the tatami, which are important to maintain a respectful and fair practice environment. This section will cover topics such as mat etiquette, inappropriate behavior and rules for respecting opponents.

In summary, we will discuss the different aspects of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and its rules, in order to allow a healthy, responsible and respectful practice for all practitioners!
