Data collected and purposes

Newsletter. When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is collected through the MailPoet plugin and stored on our site. It is used solely to send the newsletter and the welcome guide. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.

Contact form. Information sent through the contact form (name, email, message) is used only to answer your request and for no other purpose.

Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic (page views, sources, device). This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

Quizzes. Quiz answers are processed anonymously in order to display your score.

Display preferences. Your light or dark mode choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to our servers.

Cookies

The site uses technical cookies required for it to work (cache, security) and audience-measurement cookies (Google Analytics). You can configure your browser to block cookies; the site will remain accessible.

Affiliate links

Some articles contain clearly identified affiliate links, notably to BJJ Fanatics. If you make a purchase through these links, BJJ-Rules earns a commission at no extra cost to you. These links transmit no personal data from our site: tracking is carried out by the merchant under its own privacy policy.

Data retention

Your email address is kept for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter, then deleted after you unsubscribe. Contact data is kept for the time needed to handle your request. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics standard retention periods.

Hosting

The site is hosted by 02Switch. Data is stored on secure servers (encrypted HTTPS connection).

Your rights
